Selvane Bootcut

The most cotton-rich pair in the range, washed and lightly worn in before it reaches you. The flare opens high, from just under the knee, which lengthens the leg more than a low kick does.

• Denim: Rigid, non-stretch — 88% cotton

The fabric

High cotton content means the fabric fades rather than greys. Wear points — the seat, the knee, the edge of the pocket bag — lighten with use and stay that way, so the pair records how you wear it.

Fit & sizing

Close through the seat and thigh, then open below the knee. Take your usual size; take the next one up if you want the seat relaxed.

Measurements are taken flat on the garment, in centimetres. Waist is the full circumference; leg opening is the full width of the hem. Allow 1–2 cm of variation.

Care

• Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle
• Wash separately for the first few washes
• Do not bleach
• Hang to dry — do not tumble dry
• Warm iron on the reverse if needed
