The house bootcut, in three washes. Rigid denim, cut long through the thigh with a clean break from the knee down. It is the plainest pair in the range and the one that goes with everything else in it.

The fabric

A drier, firmer hand than a stretch jean. It creases where you bend and keeps those creases, which is what gives a plain black or white pair its character after a season.

Fit & sizing

Long in the leg by design — the flare needs the length to sit right over a boot. If you are between sizes, or want the leg fuller, size up.

Measurements are taken flat on the garment, in centimetres. Waist is the full circumference; leg opening is the full width of the hem. Allow 1–2 cm of variation.

  • Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle
  • Wash separately for the first few washes
